Betty Mae (Ashcraft) Campbell

Betty Mae Campbell (82) of Enterprise, WV passed away on April 9, 2018 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Betty was born January 19, 1936 in Worthington, WV, the daughter of the late Orville Clair Ashcraft and Anna Mildred Sturm Ashcraft.

Betty was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to sew, crochet, and knit. She also enjoyed going fishing, and having picnics with the family, watching Hallmark movies and playing games on note pad. She was a member of the Calvary Temple.

In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her first husband David Dow, her second husband Richard Theodore Campbell, and one sister Loretta Weaver.

Those left behind to cherish Betty’s memory are two daughters; Debbie Hoy and husband Jimmy of Mannington, WV, Kathryn Paugh and husband Kenneth of Clarksburg, WV, three granddaughters; Debra Postlethwait and husband William of Shinnston, WV, Jennifer LeGrant and husband Patrick of Enterprise, WV, Jamie Hayes and husband Jason of Mannington, WV,   four great-grandsons; Richard Nichols, Trenton Hickman, Christopher Hayes and Isaiah LeGrant, five great-granddaughters; Bridget Nichols, Skylar Hayes, Cheyenne Hayes, Seneca LeGrant and Serenity LeGrant, four brothers; Donald Ashcraft and wife Diana of Day Brook, WV, Roger Ashcraft and wife Virginia of Fairmont, WV, Glen Ashcraft and wife Brenda of Landsdale, PA, and Fred Ashcraft of PA, and several nephews and nieces.     

 The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Dorsey Funeral Home on Saturday April 14, at 11:00am with Pastor Mike Kirby officiating. Interment will be at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery, Shinnston, WV.
