Roger Allen Stalnaker

Roger Allen Stalnaker, 61, of Shinnston, passed in his home on June 14, 2022 at 1:05am.  He was born in Clarksburg on June 5, 1961 to the late Dorsey Stalnaker and Mary Katherine (Harbert) Stalnaker.

He served in the Army National Guard and was in Desert Storm.  He was a 10-year member of the Orioles Club in Shinnston.

Roger is survived by his companion of 17 years, Katheryn Arnett of Shinnston; one brother, Doug Stalnaker and wife Amenda of Mannington; one daughter, Amanda Gogan of North View; his stepchildren:  Bobbie Jean Underwood and husband Jerry of Peora, Mike Wright and wife Debbie of Meadowbrook, Treasa Jaggie of Clarksburg, David Jaggie and wife Ashley of Terra Alta and Carolyn Jaggie of Huntington; many grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved dearly; nephew, Brian Douglas Stalnaker; niece, Desiree Dawn Stalnaker; niece in law, Julie Ann Gump and his dear friend, Kurt Kendall.

In addition to his parents, his is also preceded in death by one brother, David Stalnaker.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 11:00am until the time of service, 1:00pm with Pastor Dan Adkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Enterprise I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Military Honors will be provided by the US Army and Harrison County Honor Guard.
