Garrett “Steve” Steven Sharp,44, of Worthington, passed away on October 6, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 22, 1975, in Clarksburg, the son of the late Garrett and Joanne (McNabb) Lamp Sharp.
Those left behind to cherish Steve’s memory are his wife of more than 20 years, Vickie (McGilvray) Sharp; two daughters, Taylor Elza and her husband, Jacob of Wyatt and Alexis Sharp of Worthington; one granddaughter, Ember Elza; three brothers, Robert Warren Lamp of Lumberport, David Lee Lamp and his wife, Susie of Wilsonburg and James Dye and his companion, Tracy Rush of Fairmont; one half-sister, Brenda Stutler and her husband, Jack of Good Hope; three nephews, Brian Lamp and his wife, Kimberly and Jeff Lamp and his wife, Ashleigh, all of Clarksburg and Chris Sharp of Worthington.
Steve was a truck driver for ECM Transport out of Pennsylvania. He loved driving truck and couldn’t have imagined himself doing anything else. Steve also loved 4-wheeling and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
