Norma Lee Custer

Norma Lee (Craig) Custer (76) of Fairmont, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 17th 2017 at Genesis Pierpont Center in Fairmont, WV.
Norma was born August 19th 1940 in Shinnston, WV the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Jane Marie (Swiger) Craig.
Norma was a homemaker and loved going to the Everlasting Covenant Church as well as watching pastors on TV. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them, most of all her grandchildren (that she loved to spoil).
Norma loved caring for the elderly and playing cards and doing word search puzzles.
In addition to her parents Norma was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Eugene Custer and one son Howard William Dodd, one brother Junior Craig and one sister Wanda (Craig) Donachy.
Norma is survived by three children. Two sons Bobby D. Dodd and wife Pauletta of Bellview, WV and "JR" Jacob W. Custer III of Fairmont, WV. One daughter "Peachy" Patricia (Custer) White and husband Harry of Fairmont, WV. Five sisters: Geneva Haught, Margie Burch, Freda Kurbaba all of Fairmont, WV, Claris Standard of Bigamon, WV, Helen Lemley and husband Artie of Mannington, WV. Two brothers: Eddie Craig and wife Carolyn of MD and Freddie Craig and wife Sue of Shinnston WV and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank the Genesis Health Care Pierpont Center for the years of care they gave to Norma especially Norma's favorites Cheryl and Stacy.

Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV. 26431 on Thursday July 20th 2017 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Dorsey Funeral Home on Friday July 21th 2017 at 11:00am with Pastors Josh Morgan and Roy Weese presiding. Interment will follow at Elizabeth Mason Memorial Park in Joetown, WV.
